question about sbq event,

the last 4 i have been to got rewards an was able to loot but no repair kits or flux ?? these were long fights, not quick kills dumped 2000rounds of gatlin laser into her, so whats up.

Yes, known bug with the new update. Again.

Not like they should know how to code and maintain their own game after 3+ years or anything.

You need to do X amount of damage to the SBQ in order to get a reward, I think someone in your group can count for you now. Nor does any damage towards the other mobs count towards that amount.

The amount of ammo used does not mean anything if you were doing reduced damage while she was a half mile away in the air. This is because the distance computation for flying mobs is @#$%ed and you exceed the drop off range for damage. Which is why it is better to try to wait until the SBQ is close or on the ground.

So if you get one of the SBQ events where it dies too fast it is very easy to miss out on a reward.

He's talking about the rewards you get from the event itself, which is bugged since no one gets the flux or a guaranteed 3-star legendary.

We are well aware of the conditions to deal damage to SBQ. OP dumped 2k gat laser shots into SBQ. So that is not enough now?

For me, event was joined properly and 1k damage to SBQ was done. I do easily over 1k damage in the fist 10-12 shots i hit on the SBQ and then leave her alone so the event does not end quick. No event rewards and no flux received at end. Lots of other players doing the ??? emote, so it wasn't only me.

This is a known bug with new update. Other players asking why no flux is getting dropped.

Would have required actually reading the opening thread though. Obviously that did not happen. Since when do 2k gatling laser shots not do enough damage to SBQ to trigger rewards?

As I pointed out, if the OP happens to be one of those people shooting non-stop at the SBQ a mile away those shots mean nothing. There is almost always one of those people at the event.

I did the SBQ three times, I did not even look to see what I got. Now that I think about it, there was no splash message at the end listing the rewards.

Yes. That is what has been happening. OP like myself is a long term player. When suddenly something is not working as it always has before these things are easy to notice. I have stopped doing SBQ until it gets fixed.

Yeah I will pay more attention tomorrow if it comes up. I got distracted from the first one because I had to go hunt for the SBQ corpse because some asshat shot her while she was like a mile away in the sky. I went from the bunker to the forest to find it.

Yep, always fun when you gotta run an Olympic long distance event into the next county to go find her. Been there many times.
