You could also just grind a lot on a day you're not working or going to school and get the 325 notes you need for the full armor set. so that could be about 82 activities that reward 4 notes.
for the choise what to buy, noone can tell you that when we dont know your build. SS armor is useless for PA users, and T65 is useless for none PA users as example. both are the best armors in there respective fields statewise.
the settler faction bullion vendor will sell a gauss shotgun plan when you reached max faction with them, the crater bullion vendor will sell a gatling gauss plan at max faction.
there is also Minerva with her random selection each week, what even include faction plans without the faction needed to buy them from her.
the fertile floors are ever a good grab from the settler trader, if you are into crops in your camp, when you made 2-3 more faction standing steps upwards with them.
Seems that you are suggesting SS armor would be best for me. Is it a lot better than Chinese Stealth Armor? Which I am using right now, and it has served me pretty well.
As I am closest to max rep with Foundation, I will probably keep working toward achieving that with them. Is the gauss shotgun a big improvement over, say, the Fixer?
I guess you could say my build is stealth commando.
Yes with CSS you get rad protection and super stealth . But SS has much better protection from damage. It can also be legendary.
If you aren’t specced for Shotgun, Gauss Shotgun is not for you.
