It'd make sense for a similar style game, not DLC though. Set it in 2127 when Vault 15 opened.

There are 4 separate armors in Fallout New Vegas that are literally the same outfit without the NCR insignia and were used pre war as riot gear for the United States 11th Armored Cavalry Division
It's pre war riot gear.

Last time i checked (litterly 30sec ago lol) there wasnt anything on the Armor wich says Ranger Armor, infact there are only two pieces of text on it, one is a Number, prolly the unit number, and the other one is LAPD.

IIRC the Rangers were not part of the NCR, they only sided with them, hence the monument at the border in F:NV.

Older Fallout titles are set hundreds years in future. Only things that fits in game is Pre-war or early Post-war things.

I am not Fallout fanboy but it's better than NCR that was founded 2196 in California.
And what is wrong with Pittsburgh? It fits time and location.

Next time make a constructive and well put suggestions before making a whole thread about nonsense, bethesda already have planned years ahead what they'll put in game, and steam threads with "so called suggestions" doesn't matter.
The thing is what I wanted to prove, not being a fanboy or anything, but we as normal people in steam forums have no power or influence to future of Fallout 76 development.
