SS Underarmor mats.
Why are they so hard to get for non-P.A. users?
I've tried skirting the edges of the zone to try to get them, run out, SPAM Radaway, and repeat but it doesn't work. Rads hit too fast.
Bouncing around wasting caps to try to find them is so low key chance it's pointless.

The hardest part is getting the 3 materials used to make a stable flux. 4x3=12. That can take some time and serious firepower and protection because to get 12 could mean killing 20. You need to kill radiated enemies and roll to see if they drop one of the 3.

So I suggest begging, checking out junk vendors or lurking at scorched beast queen events and tagging every enemy possible.

The difference between levels of SS UA is not necessarily great depending on your build. The biggest drag is that wearing it blocks super duper.

Because you need one of the following to reliably survive the rads in a rad zone:

1) Hazmat Suit
2) Chinese Stealth Armor
3) Power Armor

If you refuse to use any of the above, then try your luck with player vendors for finding flux.

Only these that truly reduce radiation damage, with PA is the least one, but the most costumable and defensive one aswell.
I think if you can walk around on the blast zone, you should at least got the stealth armor already. Wear a full set, and pretty much you can walk there with few radaway.

Hazmat suit and CSA reduce incoming rads by 98% while power armour is 90%. Trying to do nuke zones for flux crafting materials without any of these is not really going to work very well.

Depends on your weapon and build. I go foraging in a Hazmat suit after taking some diluted Rad-X so as not to interfere with my mutations because I don't have my starched Genes at max level. I might spend half an hour or more after the the Boss fight is over.

I have a full health blocking shotgunner so foes get little chance to lay a finger on me.
I kill the foes for their masses and fluids which are a requirement for stable flux and apply the green thumb card to get double nuked flora. I only keep 30 units of each and put the excess stable flux in my player vendor.

My lower level second character just got her fully modded Secret Service kit with jetpack and shielded under armour thanks to the double bullion weekend. She went foraging in a Hazmat suit wielding a chainsaw.

Power armour provides near radiation immunity, 42% damage reduction as a default too... these are the reasons they didn't ALSO give it unyielding

As for flux you are better off server hopping until you see nukes getting dropped then just tagging along with the queen or buying it from players it is pretty cheap

Oh. So, Since I loose armor effects then I have to drop weight and then make run for these mats?? It's been SO long since I've done it. 😂

All good info.
I quit playing for a long time so I don't remember much about Nuke Zones or being in them.

And if you don't want to go hunting flux, about every 3rd player camp sell flux for not much caps.
