What's the easiest way to obtain plans for one of these? I've read posts about people buying them from Camp vendors, but I have yet to see one for sale at hundreds of camps. I don't even care about the cost. Playing Daily Ops = torture and I obviously haven't gotten one from that, too. Do they ever appear in the world without waiting months for Minerva? I've seen posts in random places claiming it, but I've had zero luck.

I've never seen one for sale at a vendor camp either unfortunately. I did get lucky earlier this evening however by having the plan for one drop as a reward in Daily Ops. I don't know of any other way that's easier to get one. I suppose there's a possibility anyone with the plan could build one at your camp, just remember to never scrap it and only store it if for some reason you don't want it in your camp anymore. It's not something I've tried though, but given that it's not an Atomic Shop item I assume it would work on a private team.

As I was literally at my wits end, I actually got one via the daily ops a few minutes ago. It was an "elder" reward - no clue if that mattered. Either way, I'm finally stocked up with all the appliances I wanted at long last.

Elder is guaranteed rare plan, however sometimes you can get lucky and get 2 plans

Yep- Minerva (for bullion) and Daily Ops. I bought mine from Minerva, but have since had it drop fro DOPs a couple times and sold my spares.

It’s a pretty rare drop in DOPs. I’ve had it drop twice, and I religiously get my Elder-level Daily Op every day (the plans are pretty good ones). I think I’ve had the Alien Jetpack Skin drop 5 or 6 times in the what it took to get 2 Symptomatics.

Do your DOPs every day, if you can, and then hold onto enough bullion to buy it from Minerva if you don’t have it by then. In the meantime, Disease Cures are easy enough to cook and keep on hand.
