He's always turned up for me post quest as a trader.
Same, he does still turn up.
Weird... the one who keep visiting me is an assaultron (which also act as vendor)... The doctor never visit anymore after I finish that questline.
I have the assaultron trader. It's based on various choices made twords the end of the quest.
I only keep her for two reasons, one the console it blends in with the little research center I setup in my workshop area of my house using modular consoles and the other reason is that since I romanced her, I get bonus XP via the lovers embrace which I can stack with the nuka xp buff as well.
I really would love to try some other allies that I have that I never used before but I dont want to have to delete the console, wish there was a way to place as many ally items as you want but you can only have one active at a time and can switch the others off.
If so I would replace my desk in the bedroom of my house with the nukacola desk and could switch between allies when I was in the mood for something different.
