Regardless of Asian time, North American time, or European time, the HOLIDAY SCORCHED event has begun. But this seems to be different from previous events? Because there is no event prompt popping up. This strategy completely blocks afk. But where should normal players go to find HOLIDAY SCORCHED?

The Bethesda website just tells me that HOLIDAY SCORCHED has started, kill them to get rewards. . . . . . I want to say to them, can you gather some HOLIDAY SCORCHED to Whitespring?

Any Scorched in the world has a chance of spawning as a Holiday Scorched, so they can be anywhere a normal scorched would be. This includes any events that spawn Scorched such as Collision Course and Line in the Sand. This DOES NOT include interiors Such as the Top of the World mezzanine and the Charleston hospital. The best places to look are areas with multiple Scorched, such as the airport, the ski cabins, the amusement park and water park. The problem is this is also where everyone else is looking too, so sometimes the smaller, less frequented areas can be more productive.
One thing that I can't confirm but think works is you should always clear the entire area, don't just race through looking for Holiday Scorched. Causing more respawns produces more Holiday Scorched. Just taking out the holiday ones will result in less showing up over the long term. Clear the area, move to another, clear it, then another and another. Then circle back to where you started. You should be able to get the timing right so your previous areas are respawned when you get back there. Plan a path that works it's way around the map and go hunting

Go anywhere Scorched usually spawn, outside areas only.

They show up in scorch infested areas, usually dressed up like Santa - there is a festive jingle. I have had great success at the water park, but if there are other people murdering them then you can also find them in scorch infested areas in Dweller Must Die mode. Hope that helps

I have spent the last two days trying to come up with a reason why the scorched dressed up like Santa (just for laughs, daydreaming, whatever) and I have settled on some sort of John Carpenter's 'Prince of Darkness' "I BeliEEEEEVE" style messed up fanaticism triggered by the scorched infection.

Finally founnd another Scorched Holiday mob, unfortunately when I killed it, the challenge didn't update at all. I'm over it. Gonna go play something else till they fix this crap.

I've done the kill 10 scorched challenge three days in a row without issue, so it's not a universal problem. Hopefully you're able to figure out what's going on with your setup.

Yesterday the issue was that it was kill 10 holiday scorched IN A GROUP... I played almost an hour before noticing the group part, lol

Lol - I get the OOC reasons why it's a revolving holiday, but interestingly enough Christmas plays a role in FO76 lore - Charleston being flooded on Christmas, so you can actually argue in a bunch of scorched randomly running around in seasonal gear from a nerd-lore standpoint, especially with all the kooky things they already babble.

Edit: Just imagine, that horribly mutated pseudogymnoascus destructans has taken hold - skin is blistering and peeling off, and he's babbling "he is real. He IS REAL" as he wanders off to slip on a Santa costume to spread some good ole' irradiated holiday infection.

Cordyceps is delicious nightmare fuel.

Worst part of that for me was that #10 was proving elusive and just as I found one, the team I was on disbanded. And before I could join a new group, the scorched was knocked off the Charlston dam and died without me tagging it!

The Holiday Scorched only spawn outside in the WORLD, going into a loading screen location will not spawn them.
