It's just these damn masks and the utter jealousy of these whiners, who perceive that they get the rewards without "work" or "effort".

Servers only have 24 slots. Even 4 afk'ers is a significant percentage of the possible active players. I've seen as many as 8, which means it's a minimum of 1/3 of the server population is dead weight for ANY event. 8 less potential players who could join and help/take part.

No one cares if the AFKing happens elsewhere on the map.
Also, low level newbies just out of the vault are essentially the same, as they don't partake in any event either.
And what about players who are in an expedition, not even on the map at all?
By your logic, every server has "dead weight", just because they're not actively doing the same thing that you are doing.

it is sad how players poor behaviour is being 'justified' as if people will suddenly have a change of heart and consider this as normal behaviour an let it go. You are scum, it is cheating, you don't deserve a single reward and you will get reported. if enough people are reported beth will be forced to do something.

So don't go around thinking and announcing to everyone that "its okay' or "no one cares" because you are "immune", they won't do anything to you - when this is not true either.

You are not special. You will get caught, cheaters always are.

This is probably the best advice I have seen on this popular topic yet. Some people are nuking the event but instead should follow your advice.

I prefer to nuke for legendary events. It's too much effort just to be angry and take it out against a camp. Fasnacht is boring compared to dealing with the scorchbeast event. I don't care for the Earl one. That one can ruin the Test Your Metal event.

I don't care that people afk an event for masks. However I do find it frustrating when I want play the game and to do other events/bosses and no one shows up because everyone is afk where Fasnacht takes place 24/7. At this point it's like playing on a solo world and I find myself just logging in for Fasnacht and logging off.

I had to server hop 5 times to do the event 40 mins ago because everyone on the servers were afk or nukes were at the event. I'm at a point where I'm just going to play other games until the event is over and people go back to playing the game. I'm sure others have already done the same and some of those won't come back at all.

What i care about is all these level 1000-2000-3000k players joining at the last minute before the event is over, as if doing all the "work" is beneath them?! And after that, they just sit in theire camps for an hour till the next one starts and block slots on the server. Seen it sooo many times now, it's so sad. Imo they are worse than the afkers ...

Im not entirely sure but they may be "Double Dippers" (A term I herd on another thread) they participate on what ever server they where originally on to complete the event fast as ♥♥♥♥ then hop servers to try and get a second drop from a slower group. (Not defending still kinda lazy imo but better than just not doing anything at all if thats the case.)

When not afk its pretty easy to triple dip because of private servers as well

AFK is useless in Fasnacht, because even if you play all 336 times (24 times per day times 14 days), it's nowhere near the number of times you need due to how low the probability is. Bethesda knows this, of course, and that's why they've done nothing to the AFKers, because they know they don't need to. AFKers are just wasting their time and the joke's really on them when they compound their poor grasp of math with a monumental waste of time and energy. If AFK is SO effective, then why are so many people still playing it after five years? A majority of players still haven't got all the masks no matter what they do, that's why.
