Glowing Masks vs Simple Math

14 days x 24h = 336 events

drop rate of Glowing mask 0.4% right ? ( but lets say its 1% )

so +/- 100 events for 1 Glowing Mask

and there is 10 Glowing Masks total = 10 masks x 100 events = 1000 events

so how we suppose to get them all ?? thats simply IMPOSSIBLE... isnt that just WAY TO CRAZY ?

(btw. numbers are way crazier czoe Glowing Masks considered as Rare and there is much more rare masks then those 10 glowings)

with this amount of new masks, there should be "mask exchange Vendor" that allow players to exchange f.e. 25x Alien masks for 1 Glowing Alien Mask etc. or some other methode to obtain them.

Dont forget about the modders/hackers cheating the game and then selling those "masks" for real money. You can always tell who they are since they are unkillable to trap houses and then go around being toxic. I simply report those and they get caught with that mod/hack. They usually get perma banned.

i was literally thinking abaout this... that not only cheaters or moders but also DEVS themslefs can sell those masks... especialy now... when the amount of masks is "4x" bigger and drop rate and time limits are the same...

in my opinion: if they added "4x" more masks they should pimp drop rate also "4x"...

or add some other methodes to obtain them...

Maybe the idea is that each player gets a few rare masks, then trade with other players who got different rare masks.

tell that to all ppl who work and play 1-2h per day or even per week...

You think they will have even 1 for trade ??

is this event made only for nolifers ? or i have to play 12h everyday ? then sleep 4h and go to work for 8h ? :D

Yeah it is just dumb luck. I play 3-5 hours every day or other day and yesterday i got the fancy pump action shotgun with a 1.5% chance of dropping, my glowing pig mask, automated butter churner, a god roll aristocrat, speedy, durability pepper shaker, a perfectly preseved pie, and finally the makeshift ronin mask. I feel i used up a years worth of luck hahaha. My friend who played all day yesterday just kept getting common masks and never even saw the things i got in his 200+hrs.

@OP, that is why the glowing ones are considered rare. As far as the new non glowing ones, drop rate is fairly good. I almost have them all (I think). And I havent been on constant and at every event spawn.

Today I have a chance to be on a bit longer than usual so maybe I will get lucky and get a glowie... if not isnt the end of the world lol.

ppl used to buy more accounts for more characters slots for stash space so yes they do want you to buy more accounts and make more characters to do the same ole crap. which is crap for some barbie clothes

That's... not how the maths works...

Each successful run is an independent trials. The odds never change between trials.

You can't say a 1% chance means you'll get something after 100 runs. That only works if each trial is linked and the number rolled is barred from rolling again. That is you go through every permutation.

I'm not going to go into it further but suggest you look up confidence intervals.

But... even then they rely on the RNG being as random as possible. With the RNG implementation BGS have in this game I and many others have their doubts the RNG seed used is really 'fair'.

Some people (or characters) will just be more lucky than others because they have a more favourable seed.
