question, fusion gen, and core recharger...
would it work to have a fusion gen and a core recharger, for continuous power?

basically use cores in the gen,and refuel 4 other,,

Once you build a fusion power generator I don't think you need to replace the fusion core. I could be wrong but I've had them in all my bases and I've never had to replace a core or even see any sort of interface for it. I also just purchased the new wireless generators and they're basically the same as all the regular generators (only smaller) and none of them require any fusion cores.

The fusion generator does not need cores thankfully. I use a core charger that I keep a stock pile of 10 cores charged. It can only charge 4 at a time but it shares the common storage so it easy to swap cores in and out of the charger. My PA has the legendary perk to recharge cores during energy based battles so that helps keep cores charged for me.

Generators of any type don't use any fuel. All of them produce power constantly once built and will do so forever. The only thing fusion cores are needed for is power armor and gatling lasers.
