Scrapping the Ultracite Gatling Laser for the Prime Reciever mod..?

After I got the plan for the Ultracite Gatling Laser I started building quite a few pieces to scrap them for the mods. There are 15 mods in total. After about 20 scrapped weapons, I had all the mods except one: the Prime Receiver.

After another 20 scrapped weapons, I have not yet managed to obtain this 15th mod. Now I doubt whether this last plan can be achieved with scrapping.

Does anyone know if the Prime Receiver mod for the Ultracite Gatling Laser can be obtained by scrapping weapons, or if it only can be obtained as reward after certain events?

I wish you had asked this before wasting that much resources because no you cant learn it by scrapping it. Prime receivers acn only be learned via plans droppped by Scorchbeast Queen.

Ouch, that sucks, Gorgos. Considering the amounts of rare resources needed for just one Ultracite Gatling Laser, you can imagine how long it took me.

I managed to get one from Scorched Earth a couple of days ago. If I can make a suggestion: if there's specific plans you're looking for just do a quick Google search. 9 out of 10 times the first result is the Plans wiki page and it lists all the ways you can get the plans; including which vendors, if any, sell it. This is how I learned all Prime Receiver plans drop from Scorbeast Queens during Scorched Earth. It's also how I learned that not all mod plans can be gotten from scrapping; some can only be purchased. And a few are only available as the one-time boxed mods. Also, right now, the new boss requires a nuke to bring out so Scorched Earth is a little rarer these days so if you see it jump on it if you need prime receivers.

I bought all prime receiver plans that players were selling just to improve my chances to get that one from the queen. No luck so far...

Hey Gorgos, above you can read that ronr24 offered me the plan for the receiver itself. An offer I couldn't refuse. I have already received it. Awsome!
