Anyone else put their vendor outside and then a lock on the door?
I try to keep the drama at bay and keep the folks out there. The reason they came to my camp is for the vendor machine. So get your candy bar and get going.

They cannot do anything to your camp. It is a game not real life. If it worries you so much why even have a vendor?

Looking at other players camps to see their creativity and design ideas with camp building can be very inspiring. If everyone locked everything what is the point if only you can see it?

This is the problem I have with your kind.

I mean, when I was new and really didn't want people grabbing my crops cause I was building up mats I'd lock that up in a room.
If you wanna lock your house up for any reason at all that's fine.
But if I wanna think that's weird that's fine too.
It would make way more sense to me if it was a roleplay thing, than to "keep drama at bay" especially coming from you.

admiring peoples creativity in camps is a wonderful part of this game to me and many others.
a TON of my loadscreens are pictures of awesome player camps I've taken with the prosnap
the rest are just weird glitches I took snaps of, or cool outfits at events.

Unless you're heavily into some kind of RP, camps are really only used for crafting, selling and admiring. Now, there's a big problem with locking things and people not knowing better. All locks can be picked. We know this. There are PvP'ers that will pick your lock to flag themselves, taunting those that want the bounty to attack them. If it's your base and you attack them because they broke your lock, there's a good chance they will melt you and your entire base. All that scrap to repair, especially flux, just because you locked a door. Think about it. On a side note, most players like to admire the creativity of other players and how they build.

So, the point of the story is that locks stop no one and can be used against you.

I used to but over time have gotten away from it.

I just wish people who visited would close the doors, turn off the rad shower, turn off the lights.

The switch is there for a reason people!
A lock isnt going to stop me from going into your camp.

Yeah but you know full well that OP just needs to say something weird again.

If I were this touchy with any player interaction, I would just not set up a vendor at all.
Because you know, then there would be no drama with people coming to my vendor.

But this is, of course, precisely about the drama, even though OP claims otherwise.

This. I make a game out of trying to get into locked camps without taking a bounty. Then I'll poke around for a bit and leave a gift bag on the floor if no one is home...just so they know someone made it in. :VBOY:

You can usually yeet through walls by interacting with the various objects they put inside the locked rooms near windows.

Locks don't stop people, neither do closed doors
both can be easily bypassed

I don´t even have a doors.
Since i'm near vault 76 my camp is full of greenhorns, they are enormously curious and in my camp they get nothing but good

I leave everything unlocked, except my shelter. Sometimes someone goes in anyway, but it's not a big deal really.🙃
