I really hope bethesda keeps the game alive for a while.
Now that the show is out, i think it would have been an excellent opportunity to do a cross over type event maybe do the location from the show (Filly) or something to get more people into the game that otherwise wouldn't have. The game has made an amazing comeback and can still do more.

And I'm sure they will monetize whatever they can from it rather than using that to actually make it better. There's a way to do this well, in a way that makes all parties satisfied but I can almost promise you that making more money right now will take priority. Longevity and killing franchises isn't a problem to people who can just buy another franchise to make a quick million/billion off of. Nevermind the treatment of the writers and creators.

they have a whole generation to monetize, and with that in mind the game is doing .... very well.

"Numbers don't lie" but they sure as hell can mislead you if you apply them wrongly. The short term isn't going to make long term fans. Do they really think kids these days don't care about quality? They're just adapted the cycle of depletion and replacement without renewal that is all they've known. Give em a chance they'll grab it.

i was hinting more at the young bucks in their early 20s who have their first credit card and the DON"T TELL ME HOW TO SPEND MY MONEY mentality " its a suggestion" at best no one really cares what you do with your money ha

Amazon has already approved a second season for the show, so I'm sure there will be more tie-ins for a couple more years. An expedition to California and more BoS content is a no-brainer. I'm already noticing an increase in new lower level players. I just hope the community welcomes them, we can always use new players to keep this game alive and growing.

If you want to go to Filly just load up FO4 (because I'm stupid) FO3 and go to Megaton, it's literally the SAME city as many design cues were taken from it.

The show really does a good job of distracting people from the story with strategically placed nostalgic elements everywhere...

They are up in player numbers compared to last year. For an old-er MMO like 76 that's a miracle and shows an effort is being made.

In my rage I got careless... You got me. Um, yeah, the earlier game...

to be fair I think it needs more for veteran players, a max cap increase would also make things more enjoyable and more daily scrip in general

Maybe add the 4th legendary attribute they mentioned along time ago.
Or let you choose the first star when you RNG a weapon or armor piece.

just saw shroud playing it with 13k viewer, i bet thats alone enough to give it a little boost, if only a tiny handful of the 13k people revisit the game its a win

"old-er" ...It's not old in terms of the top MMOs it is fairly new.

World of Warcraft - 2004
RuneScape - 2001
Final Fantasy XIV - 2010
Guild Wars 2 - 2012
EvE Online - 2003
Elder Scrolls Online - 2014
Black Desert Online - 2014
Lord of The Rings Online - 2007

etc.. There are many more, plenty that a over a decade old and have a good amount of players. And the reason all the mainstay MMOs are so old is because there just hasn't been anything to replace them.
