While I totally understand about supporting other display ratio's, they focus on what the MAJORITY of users have. Just taking a look at statistics, the VAST majority of gamers are on 16:9. So they work with that and don't divert they time on other niche products.
I'm not defending them, not accusing them. This is simply the way it is.
By the way, I was an extremely early adopter of 32:9 monitors. I sold mine after 8 months. Went back to 16:9 for gaming, too many games don't and won't support strange ratios.
Yes, I know. But why in 2024 it is not native? Why always I have to edit ini files and install mods (only in Bethesda's games). Despite there is a solution, it is not perfect, because when you minimize to desktop it randomly breaks.
