Hey, look on the bright side, for quests with big divergences (admittedly only 2 I can think of), you'll get to see both sides if you pick differently than your partner.
What choices? There are only 2 points in the ENTIRE GAME where a 'Choice' has ANY impact at all.
As a solo player, you would have to start a new character.
The alternative is joining another player.
There are however plenty of other choices mainly during dialogs and interactions with terminals and robots, where SPECIAL skill checks are applied.
The difference in Quest Pathing has zero impact on over all game play. To be a completionist does require 2 Characters. It otherwise make no real difference. As for SPECIAL checks, they now include multiple checks for almost every challenge to compensate for the Primary Build types, with all sorts of Chems/Perks to help get over the requirements.
Clearly, something had to be done!
No more coop quests.
Yea, seriously.
*(the phrasing there makes it sound fairly egocentric, though I hope any reader understands I've exaggerated facetiously for entertainment value; blame Potato is a fine solution, excellent outlet for general ineptitude, however.)
Thanks Eriskumma! Yeah, we can find a way to make it fun. The main reason I wanted to reply to you is to confirm your statement about this community, it's one of the best I've seen in a long time gaming.
That's why I don't group. That achievement is like... er... virginity. Once gone you can never go back to that group.
Spoken from a proud nuke virgin.
