1st Subscription
Hello, I used tral for premium 1st subscription (or something like that) and I have a question: after the subscription ends, the items stored in the scrap box will disappear?

What will happen to them if my cache is full, has anyone tested it?

You will still have access to all the scrap while crafting, but you wont be able to add any new scrap to it. Same goes for the ammo box; you can take ammo out but not put any in.

The Fallout 1st trials come around 2-3 times a year, and I usually just hoard rarer junk in my stash until it comes back around, and deposit.
1st is quality of life, and its totally manageable progress without 1st. Stash Management really isnt as hard or cumbersome as people make it out to be.

That's true, but it is more convenient to have it than not to have it, so if you don't mind spending the $$$, it's worthwhile.

that f1st tryout is lame lol. it doesnt even do a good job at showing you what f1st is.
let's just say it didnt make me feel like i need to keep f1st.

good for me. i get to keep playing their game for only the initial purchase @10bucks lol

game is janky in a lot of ways but im not gonna complain @10bucks.

* i really hope they use a decent engine for fallout 5. tired of fallout-y quirks.

Couldn't agree more. Best part of 1st is not having to interact with the rest of the community. Maybe I might like to kill the Endgame boss myself and not stand by while griefers epeen all over her.

But that functionality wasn't even in their so-called trial!

What did we ACTUALLY get here? A free workbench skin and the ability to store more junk?

There's only one type of person who NEEDS to store more junk, and it ain't new players.

It's hoarders. Maybe they sell stuff. Maybe they're collectors. A normal player won't need 1200. Will they use it? Probably. Do they NEED to? Nope.

Where does it say ingame when the trial ends? It doesn't.

Oh they can tell us about this and that in the shop, they can tell us about Lucy's backpack SKIN, something utterly useless to most people (and that you can get FOR FREE with Fallout 4 mods RIGHT NOW).

But if we want actual information about the trial, we have to go the website itself.

oh wow if only there were some space we could have been told about this ingame oh well maybe next time

Yes, it does.
In the Atomic Shop it says "Limited Time 6 days" on the big button.
Furthermore, if you press the button, you'll find the usual small print where it specifies the exact start and end date.

(Granted, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up and used the same date from the last free trial in October 2023. I haven't checked if they corrected that yet.)

So basically, we can use trial to move EVERYTHING we have in storage inside the premium containers, and then when it ends... start using the normal one again, for extra 1200 space.

Is this doable?

The premium containers from FO1st have infinite capacity.

Ammo box = infinite ammunition storage capacity (except fusion cores and plasma cores)
Scrap box = infinite scraps storage capacity (all junk items automatically get scrapped)

You always need your 1200 limit stash box for weapons, armor, appareal, food, aid, etc.

After the trial ends, you can still take out scraps and ammo from the premium boxes, but you can't deposit anymore.

The trick is to hoard as much junk and ammo during the trial to amass a huge stock that will last you until the next free trial in a few months.

Yes, that's how it works. During trials you fill up the unlimited with everything you have so your normal one is empty when the trial ends. Then you start filling up the normal one during game play.

Quick tip, if you play long term and fill up your free limited stash to the max, you can sub Fallout 1st for just one month and start refilling the unlimited stash again. You'll also have a whole month to stuff that unlimited stash with enough scrap to last you for hopefully a long time. And you keep all the exclusive Fallout 1st outfits when that one month sub expires.
