Nuka Cola Quantum Power Armor

I am doing the Nuka Cola Quantum Armor quest and used the ID cards, but when the code was entered, it said wrong code. Had to use emergency exit. I went and got a new code, but now I don't have ID Cards to open hidden room. I have gone back to get ID Cards and they are not there. I have done a server swap and now waited until the next day and still no ID Cards to loot. Anyone have an answer on how I can get new ID Cards or is the quest bugged to a point that I can no longer get them? Thanks.

Had this happen on one of my toons and IIRC you need to do the whole quest again, collect new cards, get new passwords etc. You just need to wait that the quest resets and new cards spawn. Nuka-Cola PA-paint quests are a bit buggy since they are unfinished.

The cards are world spawned loot and part of your hidden looted items list.

You need to loot ~250 other items then logout so the cards will spawn when you enter the cell on next login. A common tactic is to loot the house in Summerville that has a lot of burnt books.

The code is also a 1 time use code and can be overwritten if another player is on the same quest. Get the code and go use it asap.
