Mods not working?
So i could just be really dumb. But why is it so hard to install mods? are they just broken currently? Im not like the worst at this i mod skyrim all the time and make sseedits and bash patches all the time. But modding 76 has just been all over nothing works i tried fallout configuration and vortex so far. idk if modmanger 2 has support. But no matter where i install and try to deploy nothing is working in game sadly? :\

Is there a recommended method im not doing?

Also side note is there a way to use my side mouse buttons as binds im losing my mind that i cant.

This is what I use, 183 mods and have had no issues for at least two years now.

That's currently ehat I just tried some mods seem to load others not. Idk modding 76 makes me feel dumb when I feel that I'm not even doing anything wrong to begin with

When you installed the mods do you select the option to package them together in ba2 separate or loose? I did loose for each loose mod and packaged for already packaged mods maybe thats wrong tho.

Alright let me walk you through step by step; This is the mod we will be downloading ( you don't have to)
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/2313?tab=files

To start off, go to files and click Manual Download on whichever file you want. In this case it would be MoreAnimations, the newest version; which at this time includes the antique glove of mars.

If you have premium you may click Fast Download, I do not, so Slow Download is alright for me.

The ZIP file that has been downloaded, open it and drag the .BA2 file onto your desktop.

Open Fo76.Ini (Fallout 76 Quick Configuration) and go to Mods, this will open the mod manager.

Drag and drop your .BA2 file you will notice a unmarked check box, check it and click Deploy in the bottom right.

You have installed your mod :)

I personally do not hassle with loose files

Lol this is to much. mods just arent working then. only some are assuming a recent update broke stuff.

speaking generally, i avoid mods, falseness and live by the rule don't get your fame on account of others. if someone built a game, I respect them enough not to mess with their environment. game industry evolved enough, build your own game. same goes with cheats.

it's just my opinion. in regards to mods, they cause issues, make the game unpredictable, cause crashes, lags and you dissin the devs in majority of cases.

I've been with fo76 through good and bad times, especially formerly mentioned. And our future has just begun.

Never once has one of the 183 mods I use crashed the game.

annoying when you cant find loot cos of grass. but hey good for you.

allow me to correct myself on the first post in this thread, only exception to mods being when the community white knights start interfering with the artistry causing more censorship like with the original fallout so the oc is censored making the industry having to interfere as well as various other elements.
even then, modded content ain't it for me at least.
art should be respected. as should traditions, originality, roots and the old school.

Same experience for me. When i used them they were very simple to use and i never had a single issue with a mod that was not my own fault. If someone is having major issues with the game after installing mods the reality is that it is probably not the mods fault.

You can turn off grass in the games settings ini file. No need for a mod to do that.

The guy has a ego ignore him he is quite retarded and doesnt understand bethesda modding and the simple fact mods break on updates he probably has 183 mods with like only 5 working ones lmao. i had to manually make the mods myself and update them im perfectly fine now but this guy has no idea what he is talking about.
My personal opinion:

I know how mods work in many games and use them in a lot of games, that being said, will not use a single mod in Fallout 76 caus officially it is not allowed, do i care? In this case i do.

I want to keep my account caus i put tons of effort in it. People who wanna use mods? Sure go ahead and do what you want caus it's your game and i respect that.

183 mods running and not a single problem is something i just can't and will believe, not ment as a disussion but that my opinion.

The game offers me enough to play it without a single mod and i play since day 1 of Fallout 76.

I respect [PBS] jamstam opinion and is is NOT wrong in my opinion.

You sound like you got more mods than you do hours in the game...someone's trying to be special. I don't even think I could name 50 different aspects of the game lmao.
