Auto Axe and chainsaw are also compatible with Commando weapons, so I carry Fixers for ranged damage and a chainsaw/auto axe for up close and personal work.
Also, does Makeshift Warrior work with the Auto Axe? since it's classified as a Melee weapon?
Commando perks are for rifles like the HANDMADE RIFLE and FIXER when modified for full auto fire.
IMHO Stable Tools is the better durability perk for drills, rippers, chainsaws, and the auto axe since it only uses 3 perk points. It is supposed to stack with Makeshift Warrior, but I have +50% Durability as the third star on several of my chainsaws. MW+ST would be a waste of 8 perk points when repair kits can fix them instantly.
3 points into makeshift warrior gives 50% 3 points into stable tools gives 40%.. in what world would you lose 10% durability for no reason, unless theres some hidden stat im missing
I'm new to use it but I've learned that these effects tend to be quite good.
1. Furious
2. Heavy Hitter's
3. Lightweight OR VATS Optimized
I have it for the Melee backup for my two characters and even without every perk it does well.
My main has the Science Perks as part of it's Energy Commando and it has the Electric mod on it.
