If you say so.. I'm probably the saltiest fresh meat you've ever had.

A tip to new players also, because i see you all stop in check the store then leave. Play the games and the instruments you see in other players bases/camps. They give you a buff to your stats i think its after 20 seconds of use? The hot tub works like a bed giving you the well rested bonus too, which gives bonus XP buff i beilieve.
I also like to run down there and put stuff in the donation box too when i begin to collect an excess of med things, ammo, food etc...
The ingame groups are there, but the game itself works against your ability to be social. It's better to think of this as a single player game, that just happens to feature other players in the background, sometimes.
For more specifics, the grouping system is capped at 4, so you can never include everyone in your game on the same team (24 people per server), which means you can never remove the possibility of PvP.
As mentioned, you can't type messages to anyone.
Lots of unhelpful emote options...
Mic use, even when used, is limited to "nearby area" or "team", so you can't just coordinate between teams unless you are all close to eachother.
There's zero official mod support (and threats of banning for those that do mod), so can't improve the chat options.
That said, players don't attack me, I don't attack them. They sometimes show up at events to help me, as I them. As far as I can tell, PvP is basically non-existent in this game, despite the game itself encouraging it.
Most of us though, we're great!
They are more indifferent than friendly, but that's better than them being hostile. And because they can't talk, nobody says anything negative or hostile...
I was there for a while playing with everything
