How can I track prices?

I'm relatively new, despite owning the game for a few years.

I have some 3 star weapons im curious about

Asking advice here is fine. Screen shot and upload it on steam. Make sure it's public, then post the link here. Or just be specific and concise in describing your weapons and you'll have plenty opinions. Screen shot is just a bonus for us, cause who plays that doesn't love grading legendaries, am I wrong?

Prolly at least half of the legendary weapons/armor are only worth their scrip value, about 100 caps per star. Of course some are worth much more.

Varies wildly by weapon, lego effects, and of course level.

Generally speaking unless its got a very good GROUP of lego effects on a popular weapon its better off in the lego grinder than taking up space in your stash hoping someone will buy it, especially right now with the servers being engorged with lowbies who aren't going to know the value of a item or be able to afford it anyways.

Makes me think of that idiot on here who had the bloodied power fist with +1 str and something VATs. I hadn't laughed in a couple weeks but I busted out laughing when he said that 3 star was worth "something" lol.

EDIT: Sure, it was about the best you could get with the rolls on a power fist but "worth" all those caps? Surely not.
