Can you do 100% achievements with just completing the quests?
Are there insane achievements like be pvp #1 or spend 1000$ on the store ?

Is it like swtor where different classes have different quest lines? Or is it because some quests can have different endings, and need a second char to do the other ending?

Not possible to finish all achievements/challenges just by doing the quests. For example "kill trogs with auto-axe" you need to get the auto-axe first (either with atoms or stamps) then do some expeditions to get all kills. Also there are in-game challenges like play 7600 hours etc.

7600 hours? WTF that's just insane, and unethical to artifically boost play time, disgusting

Thats challenge that gives 760 atoms i think not achievement

Well, doing the quests multiple times does still count as doing the quests (Daily Ops/Expditions/Dailies).

The 7600 hours thing is an in-game challenge, not a Steam achievement. No one cares how long you play. In fact, playing longer uses more resources, and reduces their profit, so never think that's a motive on it's own.

That 7600 hours is not a Steam achievment. Its literally an in-game playtime counter
Eriskumma Apr 18, 2024 @ 7:05am
Yes, 7600 hours isn't a steam achievement but in-game challenge like I specifically mentioned in my post. For some who likes to 100% all achievements in-game challenges might matter too.

some of the games I played had achievments for spending real money. Cant imagine the horror these bring to completionists

No but sometimes the steam achievements do not activate. Had problems with both auto-axe count and hour reset. This isn't a game you should count on getting those things for. Focus on things in game rather than Steam achievements.

I do want to play for the lore & story, but have an obsession to 100% if possible, and if the time & cost is not extremely unreasonable

7600 hours for the in game. I have 5.5k hours at five years or so playing. I started directly before they implemented NW, and even had my hours not reset when they disabled it I would still not have that 7600 mark. Depending on server lag sometimes it won't count full sessions to the achievement.

Auto Axe is gated, and sometimes does not count. Sometimes you can be on a team and it will count toward both users' Steam achievments. It is not reliable.

If that's your end goal, that's what it is. Best of luck.

(Apologies for the edits, bad brain day)

If you get all the story-related achievmets, it will get you approximately a day or two of dedicated farming to complete all the leftovers.

Leftovers may require you to have friends or asking for help from strangers, so be aware
