How are people getting it on Prime but activating it on Steam?

Amazon prime only gives Microsoft Store code. I hate it. I want to activate it on steam. app store sucks and slow downloading.
How do I see reviews saying they got it for free so clearly activated on Steam to be able to leave a review?

They don't, there's a option available to everyone to mark that they got the game for free
