do people really think 3 star bloodied weapons cost 15k caps?
just saw a vendor with a 3 star bloodied for like 15k caps and most others are like 8-10k.
is this just people being greedy or is that their actual worth?

Value is what you are willing to pay not the price offered.

You're paying for time saved. It can take weeks of grinding to get the perfect 3 star god roll.

There is no global auction house like system in FO76. Because of this prices don't really have a standard. You can see something at one camp for 10k and another for 1k.

So just shop around. But know most people posting up gear like that in any sort of numbers probably knows what sells. Sure it might not sell quick but they also probably don't need the caps fast either

This is Appalachia, my dear.
You may find water on a farm designed purely for free, or you might find it at the end of a gauntlet of traps at 40k.
Freedom is beautiful, I hear.

It depends. I saw a 40k Dragon with the +20% explosive perk which doesn't drop anymore. Seems like a deal TBH as weapons like that only usually get traded for other no longer in existence legendaries.

"Bloodied" is one affix. The value of the item is in what ALL of the affixes are.

Exactly. What the other stars are multiply the value.

Depending on the weapon itself and what the other 2 legendary effects are it may certainly have been worth that price. Maybe more.

I paid around 40k caps for a close to god roll bloodied fixer many years ago. Caps become extremely easy to get so if i can use caps to get something decent i have been looking for i have no problem doing so.

while this makes sense it is always stuff with the bloodied prefix that is a billion caps
1st of all caps is so easy to get it more a challenge to get rid of them. That being said. Every person can ask what they want and it is up to you if you wanna buy it.

I also see a lot of players selling mid tier weapons for insane prices, i just ignore them and look for the next vendor if i want some thing.

I persoanlly have very low prices (plans) caus i'm aiming for new players and ofc i have a few high priced items but the are worth it. God-rolls / VERY rare items i never sell for caps i just trade them for what i want.

That is mostly because it gives the highest damage buff for something that is easy to control (your HP) and pars well with armors that also work on that same stat.

So if what you want is the highest DPS possible bloodied something with some extra nice sub effects is the way to go.

Personally I never cared much for maxing out my DPS as long as it is high enough that things are dying faster them I am then I'm golden.

Too many people think literally everything is worth four and five figures. I've seen players list everything they have for a minimum of 2,000, for the most basic and common things, to 10,000 to 40,000 for the less lame stuff. "Buy my flaming bag of doggie doo for 5,000 please. I've got a voucher for beachfront property in Nebraska for 35,000."

The irony is in the Fallout universe inflation caused dresses to be over $200.

Ever look at the denominations on prewar money and why it weighs so much? The Great Appalachian Sweep Stakes tells us how much is in a stack.

War isn't the only thing that never changes.
