Definitely sounds like something is up locally with your problems on the game.
I have a reoccuring issue where it crashes in the sign up, but it works after a few tries...It's annoying, but not really something that stops me from playing.
As for graphics, I mean single player offline games will always have superior processing and graphics, shouldn't expect this game to look better than fallout 4. I'm not thrilled with their choice to make the game multi-player, but that was one of the big things I heard people complain about regarding fallout 4, so here we are. And there's enough single player content to do that, so meh.
All the fallout games have an open world....some more than others.
As for expectations of the franchise, have you played fallout 1? This is a totally different game. I mean, if they made fallout 6 and it was just a racing game, it wouldn't be that weird for this series. The game has progressed from turn based combat isometric RPG to real time FPS shooter.
As I said, my bad on the lack of research about the game proposal, as I had something REEEALLY different in mind. But super good feedback here you all. I'm glad I wrote a little rant and learned a lot, although I sounded more angry than I actually was. Thanks for your reply
Get Nvidia Profile Inspector program. Install it and run it and load the Nvidia Profile for Fallout 76. Enable the Sync option in here and as long as it is all setup in Windows correctly it will now work in Fallout 76.
There are lots of other things needed to get the game to run well and look good. By default it is pretty bad for some due to hardware and system settings etc. Lots of guides around showing all this stuff. GSync on its own is just one step.
Agreed pal.
Yes, random server disconnects, erratic camera movement in confined spaces, and very outdated graphics are the most obvious technical flaws of this game. On top of that there are many, many other, non-technical issues as well. Like I said before this is 5/10 game.
I personally play it because I'm a huge fan of Fallout world, but I really couldn't recommend this game, especially not to some random players.
Games plays fine with minor FPS drops and bugs which is just Bethesda jank at this point cause that happens in every Bethesda game.
As for the Server disconnects, camera issues and being unable to shoot that's also a you problem. I've played 76 on both consoles and PC since the original Beta and never had those issues. It isn't the game. It's you and your system.
If you don't like the game fine, but don't blame your system and shooting issues on the game.
