i never have sound after intro, even after fresh windows start...
probably an old bethesda bug they never cared about
After the 3/19/2024, 551.86 update.
Nvidia forced my rig to switch from RealTek audio to Nvidia High Definition audio.
Windows had issues with that...
Some intro's played, music.
But any real audio ingame or online was horrible.
My 2080Ti, Asus Maximus Z690 Hero was COMPROMISED!
I WAS pissed.
Headphone tests were fine.
But ingame only music played, NPC talk and other dynamic sounds sucked...
Even after all I tried as JG suggested.
It still was not normal.
I ended up in (Device Manager) under sound, removing all Nvidia audio.
Finally I have normal sound...
Your welcome.
It's a shame windows, nvidia, amd don't get along.
All this new tech for better high tech immersive sound.
When most of us don't have that.
Then all 3 don't work with each other.
Leaving us to SORT it out...
