Does anyone work at Bethesda?
As in, how is it they have nobody to answer tickets? Ever. Until I closed it I had one going 2 weeks.

Never placed a ticket to know one way or the other.

What was your ticket about? Sometimes players here on the forum can help figure out simple things or at least answer questions that come up.

with the increased revenue from the additional game purchases from a TV show and the item shop and it's constant 'SALE!!!' and 'LIMITED TIME ONLY!!!' deals ..

they can't afford support staff after all the drugs and alcohol
but if you subscribe to fallout 1st right now, they can get that dart board they always wanted in the empty conference room nobody uses

I only put in one ticket in the entirety of Fallout 76's lifetime and that was within the first 12 months of playing, before Wastelanders and before being released on Steam. And I did get a response so there is someone in the office.

If it helps you empathize, this game in particular has had a sudden and substantial increase in players right around the time of that fallout tv series release (last month).

I don't know if that's related, but they might just be really busy because of getting more players in every game of their rather large franchise. Last month I think it was something like 40,000+ players in this game alone, as opposed to 5,000 in the month prior.

If I had to guess, they are probably fence sitting on the idea of whether the players are going to stick around and if they need to hire more staff, or if they should just wait out the surge in players. Definitely feels like they devote a skeleton crew of part time employees to this game.

Nope. No one works at Bethesda, they all work at Constellation (look up ZeniMax job ads).

Note, every time you look at the ticket and put an update on it asking for someone to look at it.

It gets pushed to the back of the line.

I've had several tickets answered. The last one took a while, though. Dude apologized for the delay and said they've been busy.
what kills me is the wait for replies. You wait 7 days for your ticket to get an answer and they ask for more information, so you reply, then you wait for 7 days again to hear back. It should be a queue system of priority so once your ticket is answered, it stays at the top of the queue till its resolved.
