Happens to me sometimes. Usually takes like a minute until it continues normally.

Happened to me several times, until I figured out that you need to have a fusion core in your PA inventory before trying to enter it

Never put a core into the armour via the prompt to press E that will play the animation of the core insertion. Always put a core in before trying to enter via the PA inventory menu pressing R on the frame like you are swapping PA parts.

Other thing to try is to drop all your fusion cores on the ground or stash them if you have the space. Then pick them back up again to reset which core is being used by the armour as it can bug out.

I do the first one all the time and the second one from time to time and i cannot even remember the last time i have had a problem entering power armour.

It has happened to me as well before, not often, but even with a brand new fully charged fusion cores.

I just consider it my Power armor's nervous tick.

However as the others stated above having a fully charged core in your PA should reduce instances of it happening.

Sort of like freezing up for a few seconds when trying to use the tinkering station. Not often but it still happens from time to time.

It happens getting in or out. Waiting 90 seconds should recall it to your inventory.

Sometimes for me too. Cores in the suit and inventory, so not having these may cause it, but aren't required for it to occur. I seem to have cured it by 'entering' the power armor from the front. It still plays the same rear-loading animation, but I've not gotten stuck, knock on flatwood

It sucks when it happens because you either need to alt-F4 or wait for the suit to time out and return to your inventory.
