What should I spend my caps on?

I've just discovered there's a 40k cap limit and I'm about to reach that.. I haven't really been spending caps on anything, except some power armor stuff for a friend. I don't need legendary items because I usually hit the scrip limit every day without buying them. What should I buy?!

if you have 1st and the scrapbox, buy scrap and stuff it in the scrapbox

there are plenty of vendor in whitespring, and other place you can buy plans.
you can buy gold buillon at wayward.
visit player vending machine.
at train stations, you can find ammo, or other supply vending machines.

buying the recall thingy to do Encryptid is a good cap sink... and the 6k a week gold bullion purchase

Mole miner pails and unwrapped presents during those events is how I blow through caps

Buy plans you don’t know.

Buy buillon wayward and serum plans is the main thing to use caps on once you start getting to the limit, or start hopping around player vendors to buy random stuff you find interesting or of use.

You cant really buy nothing with caps, especially if you are veteran player. The caps are totally useless in the late game. I buy junk at vendor stations because I dont know what to do with caps and I'm always at max limit.

I just spent like ~20k on random plans at the mall and it hurt my soul.

You might think about bulk lead, steel, acid and cloth... for most ammo making and gun powder. :) I only use gauzz equipment, so what I mention is good for that. Laser's and the like, I don't know what one needs there.

Selling that stuff is where most my caps come from, I pick up literally everything that isn't nailed down whenever I leave my camp, so junk is just spilling out of my stash.

Plans for the most part. Consumables and crafting materials after that. I buy Nuka Colas all the time to make nukagrenades.

I went for aristocrat build. as long as you have 28K+ you have 50% damage, without the complexity of some of the other builds.

And yes I just go through and buy optic fibre, aluminium, gears and springs mostly when I reach 40k
