Abit of a shame

So i was doing the quest flavors of mayhem and i had to craft an explosion bait i did and it sent me to this golf feld i threw it like it said then told me to make friends with a deathclaw which i was excited for but it said it was by the tower far away so i went there anyway and tapped E to make friends then told me to kill it ??? My question is why did it tell me to throw the bait at the golf feld and not near there i even clicked show on map


Update i am now stuck it says i killed the deathclaw rose had me befriend and now it says nothing else apart from conplete her quest to gain her trust but i can’t as everything is greyed out like i completed it when i have not

:D The "make friends"-thing is just Rose trolling you, that deathclaw will always attack you no matter what you do. :)

How do i carry the quest on then ? I can’t because there is no next stage but it has in the quest i need to gain her trust

If you tried making friends with deathclaw it shouldn't matter if you killed it or not, talking to Rose should end that part of the quest. Or she contacts you a bit later through radio, can't remember it anymore.

Yeah i figured that after i had to kill it it told me to talk to her i pressed E and nothing happened

Nope it is fixed just had to relogin she repeated herself twice but got it

I will admit i love her vocie and the way she thinks but she pissed me off making me think they actually added in the tame to a deathclaw ! I want to kill that b—-h

You can tame a deathclaw if you want, friend of mine has one in their camp. Occasionally they have some other animal since camp pets tend to either die or glitch. But it is possible to get a deathclaw-pet.
