Cremator is a seriously strong weapon.

No heavy weapon perks, just explosive radius and adrenaline.

The cremator is a quad (Just random legendary roll.) no damage amplifiers at all and it can hit for 1400 in a single shot+burn for 2300? Thing's silly lol. Top it off with it NEVER RUNS OUT OF AMMO and this weapon is somethin else. Makes the invaders from beyond event so quick/easy.

Since i'm playing on hardcore - this weapon is a nono, don't want to die from a stupid dot cuz of server delay or skill issue.

It gets even more stupid when you're aware about that the dot stacks for every single cremator you're using, one after another.
How that went through QA is a mystery to me. But I guess nothing new in this game's history.

They're going to nerf it again some how, damn near everyone is using it now at events and if they aren't yet they will get tired of being blinded and join in. Also yea I'm constantly going up in ammo not even running OPs or anything.

Running heavy weapon build with friendly fire. It heals everyone while destroying groups.(including npcs) Soo fun to do in OPS or in tight event spaces. Can't wait to heal in pink lol

Since it's an event reward, limited availability, uses 10 ammo per shot, and not an immediate 1-hit-kill for every enemy, I think it's competitive with some of the other end-game weapon options like the Cold Shoulder and high-tier legendary rolls. People have to put in the work, but it does help level the playing field against those of us who have been around forever.

I'm running Asbestos lining on a civil engineer torso and fireproof max rank and it basically does negative damage to me at this point if you ever wanted to run it.

Naa, I run a juggernaut cremator. I just lob my fire into groups(using quad barrel plus slow burning) and everything and everyone dies/heals fully.

It also seems to bypass the scorch queen DR, which is really weird. Doesn't she have an inherent like 75% DR?

yeah its stronk as heck, even a ordinary non lego version packs a punch (Really if your power leveling a alt, get to 31, craft a cremator and just go hose down the plant guys in The Human Condition ) Some boss enemies resist the dot heavily but ordinary joes melt in seconds, while a slow burn lets you dot a boss then swap to another weapon to do immediate damage till the dot falls off, or be one of those loons that has like twelve cremators.
