Is it okay to use a fat man at events?

Hey y'all... I got a fat man and ammo and really want to go blow stuff up with it. Can you accidentally kill friendlies with it? I wanna make sure it won't actually screw anyone over.

Eh, for me personally it depends on what the event is. If it’s something like Moonshine Jamboree or Radiation rumble, I don’t really think nukes are needed. But during Test Your Mettle, is fine.

Uusually though using a Fatman at events is ill advised primarily because it causes unneeded stress on the server.

Make it a two shot mirv and then zoom in as you fire for more fun

Grenadier + the 30% size magazine are also musts

The only people you can hurt IN events are those who purposely cancel the event to pvp you (and you will scratch them and they will kill you, and they won't be targeting you for launching nukes)

Otherwise you hurt the feelings of some crybullies who don't want to see the glorious booms

I've got 8000 mininukes in my ammobox now

Explosives munitions other than grenades count as separate entities, it's the same reason you can't target a ball of plasma or a bullet coming at you. Also I'm like 90% certain you can't actually target mini nukes in VATS in fallout 4 but you can definitely shoot them outside of vats. 76 is clearly not Fallout 4 mechanicly no matter what some people may say.

I am 99.9999999% sure you can vats target mini-nukes in f4 but i don't want to go thru the 19 pages of screenshots to find it.

you cant vats mininukes, missiles, grenade launcher rounds or cremator shots (also missiles)

you can vats target thrown handgrenades if you haven't disabled that option (and most of us do)

as usual I've seen people claim this several times yet NONE of them have ever provided proof and I've never experienced this in several hundred hours of playing fo4

Yep, if you're gonna do it, do it right. You forgot to mention that you can carry around Quantum Nuka Grenades for extra spice.

I found the screenshot where I remember targeting one but unfortunately I'm not targeting it when I pressed the button.

I distinctly remember cycling thru targets and thinking there's no point in targeting the nuke since its so close to me I was dead anyways. You can also target missiles if you're fast enough. I honestly don't care if it turns out to be unintended or a bug. You can do it.

Not in events, no one can see and they do little damage anyway.
