*actual* pets for C.A.M.P.?

The pets you get from animal friend are intended for defense, this means they die often and that's ok. But what if I want an actual pet for companionship? The robot dog isn't gonna cut it. I'd love an actual immortal radroach just wandering about my camp, possibly latching on walls here and there. Maybe even a pet happiness meter and if you treat your pet right it'll give you a buff to one of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats?

Either way, I can see a baby deathclaw for your base making a ton of money for Bethesda. What do you think?

To OP, the lack of staff is BGSs issue. Camp pets were on the way but the staff member responsible left. For whatever reason no one else was able to carry on their work.

The more you learn about this game and Bethesda the worse the news gets. If you enjoy the game now don't become like me and dig too deep. I absolutely loathe Bethesda and all they stand for...

I don't really understand why the game doesn't have pets, yeah, especially since Dogmeat is a constant reoccurring character save for this game, and a fan favorite. They also have cats as well, so....?

You know what else they could sell? Death claw tamagachi. You damn well know we'd buy that crap like it's the last hotcakes in the apocalypse. Bonus for a rando egg; could be Mirelurk, could be an Ogua, maybe even a Mothman!

OP this game is about killing the fuzzy things. Not keeping alive, unfortunately. I try to take pictures to immortalize the Appalachian environs but lets face it these kitties and foxes and glowing frogs are gonna have to evolve if they mean to survive to the eras of the subsequent games..

Sadly, it's not going to be any time soon. They really did try to make this a thing for a few years, it was even on the Roadmap, but it had major technical issues and they eventually had to give up.

Don't misunderstand, I hope they come back around to it someday, but between this and pvp, they wasted a LOT of dev time in the first few years on ♥♥♥♥ that didn't work.
