Maybe your prices are outragous.
I'm selling tons everyday following this guide.

It really just works.

Then I blow it on stuff like serum plans or plans in general.
And go right back up to cap, selling my daily yields after having exhausted the gold/scrip/vendor resets.

A single Eviction Notice, makes me so much quick cash. Free real estate.
I also pick up all the 1stars people drop and turn them into caps that way.
If you don't respect the cap, you don't deserve the caps.

The only thing that makes sense is to produce lots of purified water and sell it to the robot at the railway stations. You can also sell weapons you take from super mutants and others you kill. But they weigh so much that it is not practical to earn any large sums.

Well I sell 5-10k per week in my vendor. Ammo, serums, plans, legendaries. The trick is to figure out the price people are willing to pay. For example, all my ammo is priced at one cap apiece, and it sells regularly.

Lower your prices. You can price something for 1,000 caps just like everyone else and have it sit in your vendor for all eternity or you can price it for 250 and sell it to the first person to come to your camp. 250 caps in your hands is worth more than the dream of selling something for a thousand.
