I would not go over 90% of the capacity of any drive. This is especially important for SSDs to function properly and not degrade their life span.
As someone who has been doing PC builds, repairs and upgrades for 20+ years this is all very true sadly. Cannot even count the number of bloated chock a block full PCs that were barely functioning and the owner has no idea how to keep it running well.
Often it can be simply from installing everything to C as it is the default option and C gets crammed full and needs to run windows and the page file as well and cannot cope. Yeah i have seen it all.
