just now was playing the one with the rain
Some event names would be useful, look at your quest list under event tab.
Basically nobody plays those so if there's one with rain atm you're probably the only one who knows about it
yeah i was playing on the quantum world didnt even know it was raining all the time and so the quest is seperate on that world to the one called adventure? and no one plays on the rain one? i just got the game. fallout 4 200 mods broke so left that game
If you are questing and doing anything. Stick with adventure.
wait so the adventure mode keeps stuff forever ? and the quantum world wipes ?
Correct. In a month or so quantum will be gone, replaced by “happy builder” or “dweller must die”. If you want to play one of those, it will import whatever stats and equipment your character has in Adventure at that time.
Note, workshops revert to unowned when you leave a world.
Bethesda had other plans, apparently. Bad ones.
Of course, that wouldn't be so bad if that's what they were making IN THE FIRST PLACE, but no, semi-MMO with micro-transactions and cookie cutter theme park daijly quests it is.
....still not saying what we have is bad, in fact it's better than ever since it's dreadful launch, but imagine what it could of been. Literally the only reason I play this game is because it's the only way to play Fallout with others, but instead they went with this route instead.
oh ok thanks
OH i see and yeah hopefully they don't ruin it
Damn thats why fallout 4 mods better
They already ruined it; Quantum Worlds is what ruined the plan. Long time ago people were requesting basically what I described: an offline/player hosted version of the game that was a separate progression from the main game to allow for mods, the real kind. They said they were considering something like it: Quantum/Custom worlds is what we got. The silly game modifiers are the "mods," which are not only just the equivalent of cheats or extra challenges, but they're still "mods" that Bethesda creates, not the players.
Only player-hosted would (rightfully so) be the only way for FO76 to have the REAL kind of mods previous single-player Fallout games has, otherwise people would be creating mods to cheat, or make NSFW mods and it would be chaos trying to control it.
Without the API, aka the Creation Kit, those kinds of mods are impossible to create, at least not without some extreme difficulty. And even if someone pulled it off, it would be bannable anyway, hence why the mods on the Nexus for 76 are very basic compared to previous games as they stay within the grey area of what's allowed and what can be achieved realistically anyway.
At this point it's safe to say Bethesda will never release the Creation Kit for full modding because it's not in their best interest, at all, for this game.
