Not one hundred on how it works for private servers.
Be advised they are also PVP zones.
And this crash just wasted everything ... I was at least hoping to get "some" materials back before I left by scrapping what I built...
I never farm from workshops or the veins in the ground, PICK up everything and you will have plenty, throw out the stuff not required, and if able equipe the scrapper perk, so much more is given.
I already have a camp on top of a junkyard and I also have hundreds of every other thing but somehow I'm eating through all my aluminum.
After the crash, luckily the power was up in the work shop so I didn't have to build much. It's somewhat profitable that way but otherwise I totally agree.
Its usually this: weapon upgrades but making them as well or a lot of repairs.
Check the requirements and that will tell you whats required.
Find something you like and stick with it, would be my advise.
Reddit says it used to be five minutes, but others are now reporting shorter.
But items I've built in workshops seem to be stored in my camp when I log back in. Could be wrong, but that's how I remember it. Mind you, I'm logging off and going to sleep, then coming back many hours later...
