The little fans are everywhere to find
But as pointed out yeah look for fans and typerwirtters
while exploring : look up for item like phone , typewritter , toaster and such they all give screw
farming : farm super mutant , since they all have some '' loose screws'' aka they are nuts , they drop screws ( thats some bethesda joke i know ! ) HunterVille is a good place to farm them , just server hop for infinite spawn.
having the scrapper card before scrapping everything help in getting more mats , also having high intelligence help too.
And globes, typewriters, Giddyup parts, toy trucks, hotplates, peppermills...
Check out the list. They are EVERYWHERE.

Toy trucks, toy cars, Hotplates?
Weird.
the cheapest and easiest way to 'mass' screws is to take workshops, they are one of the common drops in 8-20 packs
next is wendigos who 'have a screw loose' and always drop screws
which makes earle a fantastic screw farm
