Ultracite gatling laser best charging barrel mod?
I recently got a bloodied faster fire rate ultracite gatling laser and i can't, for the life of me figure out which charging barrel between aligned/stabilized and true charging barrels is actually superior. I'm using power armor and the stabilized perk and i'm not using vats. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

True. It'll have the tightest spread and make the weapon more of a laser pointer.

Stabilised seems like it should be good but isn't. The reticle is a cross but what it is describing is a circle at the end of a cone.

Recoil works by adding a set degrees to the angle of that cone. Even a small change in angle can increase the radius and hence area of that cone dramatically (those pi equations).

True parts start with the smallest radius and hence the least growth due to recoil.

Whenever u are browsing mods on your weapons workbench, at the bottom of the screen in the middle it tells you what does it affect, if it buffs or nerfs something and so on

I know, and i have the option to show detailed mod stats enabled. The problem is that the in-game stat descriptions and the ones from the Fallout 76 wiki are a bit different and frankly, confusing. Thats why i'm asking.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
