But also it feels kinda lazy - you know, selling the wallpaper and floors from a prop separately but not making it able to wallpaper or floor over the ones in the prop.
It just feels like these devs don't even know what to do with the camp system.
But that may be my love-hatred for the stupid shelters talking.
Also need a far larger camp budget just so we can add more flavour to the place, throw a few more potplants around etc.
All the resource collectors they've added now soak up more of the budget, and don't mention the cost of turrets.
Most of the bigger prefabs end up looking empty due to low camp budget.
One mention because you mentioned it - rugs and paintings go a long way. Seriously, take it as you would a real bit of interior design; I think you'll be a lot less disappointed. The prefab bases fusing with the ground poorly is probably the prefabs greatest failing; you can spruce it up outside with trees and inside with potted plants.
Most players wanna show off their stuff, have a cool glitch or a functional buffs house. With the building system glitches just making it look nice has ended up taking the back seat.
