A better way to collect dirty water?
Is there a better way to collect dirty water then standing next to my pump at camp spamming R for 5min?

Going to a river, creek, or pond and do it there. Its faster than collecting from the pump. You man need to take some Rad Away afterwords, however. Occasionally I'll just go and spam collect a few hundred to boil. It doesn't take all that long.

OMG that is so much quicker. Thankyou so much. I just collect like 138 Dirty Water in 20 seconds or so.

i suppose you need dirty water to make boiled water.

advancing in seasons reward will allow you to get a Boiler that produces...boiled water.

I remember discovering the difference in time pump vs river or stream. Was like a moment of clarity.

100% this. I have my camp in middle of road and its near a lake. I go there sometimes and just spam r, taking 3 mins to get 400-500 dirty water i think. I watch stuff on my smartphone with my other hand lol.

The other trick is to drink from a water producer. While the water animation is playing spam collect.

The water well from Foundation (bullion) is radiation free.

If you are looking for dirty water, go to standing water and press R - unlike CAMP objects, you can rapid-spam R and actually get dirty water from standing water, vs having to wait for a slow animation delay on CAMP objects.

There's also the new water boiler which just produces boiled water.

Why is it you're trying to collect dirty water? https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Plan:_Water_purifier

Because you need boiled water for cooking, and you make boiled water from dirty water. You can't use purified water for cooking. Well, there may be a few recipes that use it. But most cooking recipes that need water require boiled water.

Would kill for a purified water version of all boiled water recipies that give increased timers on the food or something like that, purified water is basically only good for selling
