Another player in my instance?

Today I was clearing out the Morgantown Airport terminal building. At the very end, with all enemies dead, I heard footsteps and gunshots. Suddenly all the enemies respawned and I actually had to make an effort not to die due to the number of enemies in that part of the building. I took a look down at the lower level through the glass, and to my surprise I saw another player. I was not on a team or part of any group; I always play solo.

I thought most indoor locations were instanced? Is the airport terminal building not one of them? Has anyone ever had something similar happen in this or a different location?

The time you took to clear the station?
Could have been time for a respawn??
The new player could have been timed for the respawn early.
New players spawn the station...
Remember timing is everything.
Don't ask dad for anything till he gets his tie off and a beer!!!

The airport interior is not an instanced interior. You can have multiple people inside.

Someone else has taken the ID card and I can't get through any of the doors, does that mean I can't get one now?

The card should be instanced.

rememebr that the only places where its actually an instance are places where you are asked to go solo when in a team

At the worst, it just means you need to quit back to the main menu, wait about 20 seconds, and rejoin. It should put you in a different server.
