Covert Scout can't be sold now? Urban Scout can..

Tried to put an Unyielding Covert piece on my vendor but doesn't show up, has no skin or mod applied. Checking with other pieces Urban appears but not Covert, bug or intentional? I was looking for a piece to give to another toon but wonder now if I can't drop Covert for anyone. Will try just dropping to see if possible :(

Covert can't be dropped or trade/sell. The urban and forest can.

Covert scout armor isn't tradeable, has never been, forest and urban scout armors are. Same thing with Arctic Marine and Botsmith armors, normal Marine and Bot armor are tradeable, Arctic and Botsmith aren't.

Just checked, yea must have never tried before. Will destroy if dropped, Forest ok...well guess I'll scrip some pieces :( Is there some feature that Covert has?...to answer my own question looks like rad resist baked in.

If it's a decent 2-3-star Unyielding piece go buy ultra-light weight mod for it from Enclave bunker and stash it in case you want to try low health build some day. Won't take much stash space.

It was just a one star I was going to sell cheap, I'll hang on to it and maybe roll it since it has the extra stat. I use Forest and Urban on my toons with the SS chest for jetpack, have both bloodied and full health builds so swap gears as they drop. Never fails that a bloody weapon drops for full health lol.

I used to go covert scout - have the lovely red paint for it, too. Very covert lol.
The mods really make or break scout armor - same goes for the vault scout version. It's very niche as other armor sets outdo it. Brotherhood or secret service for defense. I don't recall if Shadowed Wood Armor is technically better for stealth or the same.

*the vault scout armor does damage to melee attackers when you have a full set. I went with that for my commando, he dies a lot more but it's not from melee. check it out if you had not already
