There's no down side to participating in Eviction Notice. Everyone ends up with legendary loot.
Fair point! You'll need radiation protection for fixing the rad scrubber. Best for high level players to take that responsibility.
Got all three "big ones" in two days, was able to stock up on screws today with Colossus.
But yeah, it's still somewhat light on actual events.
Saw several Evictions, Jamborees and Rumbles drift past with no one joining.
For example, it's not because that you're level ~10 that a level 10 Deathclaw that appear randomly in front of you due to a sudden road event will be magically easy since even at level 10, it still its perks and relatively high stats. It's not for nothing that the early quest on Deathclaw island doesn't spawn a Deathclaw anymore if you're too low level as you undertake that quest alone. Even more with high level event that spawn special variants. Even scaled down, variants are still equipped with their special variant perks which are a massive pain in the but to handle while low level.
When I faced a deathclaw at level 8 due to a random event in the Ash mountain area (for the first time with a new character) where a death claw appeared surrounded by a bunch of blood eagles junkies, it killed each blood eagles in 2 strikes and barely had 1/10 of its HP stripped as he started rushing me. Took me 18 stims and a crap load of shotgun shells with a relatively good shotgun (can 1-shot most things normally) to take it down.
And I'm not even covering the risks of toxic behaviors that you can encounter when a player with an undefined build join random group that includes players who aim at being at their peak efficiency. Not that it's always the case, but being a "dead weight" isn't always surrounded by a positive attitude from the others.
But come on new players level 10-ish and 20-ish in the Eviction Notice event is doomed to fail.
A few min ago i did that event me and another high level player we both did succeed while a low level players where just sitting on a safe distance and do nothing.
Not ment as rude or impolite but if you are a new player and way below the event level at least do something instead of hiding.
Anyway is short? Eviction Notice never ever failed so much as last 2 wseeks, what a shame, it's fun event, tons of XP and loot.
Yeah, at least one high level player with radiation protection is going to have to volunteer to stay with the rad scrubber while lower level players take on the approaching super mutants. I have the Stealth Suit so I usually stick with the repair duties.
