Once task manager is open, click 'Options' at the top left.
Check the first option that says 'Always on top'.
Close Task Manager.
Launch the game - it will likely freeze, as usual, but now -
Once frozen, press Ctrl, Shift, Esc again.
Task manager should now be showing.
Choose Fallout 76 from the top of the list, and select 'End Task' bottom right.
Once the games closed, close Task Manager and relaunch the game.
If freezes again, just do it again.
Mine has done this ever since I got the game years ago. It's not a fix, more of a 'work around'. But 9 times out of 10, the game launches on the second try, very occasionally on the third attempt.
Good luck!
Just a loading screen after pressing Start
Then try to log in.
I never had this problem, but from what I observed on my wife's computer, this happens when you log in "too fast" and the rest of the game isn't properly loaded into cache or something. Being a tiny bit patient before hitting that key seems to anecdotally help.
If it's a different problem you guys have, sorry no idea.
