SCORE/season rewards nerfed again?

First they increased the Gold Star requirement from 5/6 daily to 6/6 daily while decreasing the pace of rewards on the scoreboard.

And now it's a point buy system with... NERFED REWARDS! Already I'm seeing posts indicating the number of atoms you get is halved (total loss of 1000) if you don't subscribe.

Don't feed the greed, folks... Sitting this season out and going to play through some of the other games in my backlog. See you in the summer at earliest.

I hate this point system its not transparent compared to the old scoreboard, besides the scoreboard was extra motivational while this new system brings up hate form me, it this what they want, me not having fun but hating the new system ingame?

Old system, get to level 100 get 100 free rewards plus the framed scoreboard for the season to put into your camp, a power armour set and 500 Atoms.

New scoreboard, get to level 100, only get 55 free rewards, no framed scoreboard, no power armour set and no 500 Atoms.

In fact the free Atoms have been cut in half, plus no repeatable 100 Atoms for every ten level after level 100.

I gave it a try today and basically ♥♥♥♥ Bethesda, ♥♥♥♥ your pathetic attempts to increase engagement and ♥♥♥♥ your obvious attempts to get me to spend money.

I really enjoyed the scoreboards before and got to level 100 on everyone apart from the first four as I did not own the game.

I'm done, I will never take part in another scoreboard again, as a consequence I will not get any Atoms to buy things to put into my camps which I really enjoyed.

I guess that's means I'm done with the game.

I've unlocked the first two and see nothing worth spending Atoms on the pass thing.

i have all the boards hanging on my walls, it was one of the only reasons i did the board, are you saying there will be no board to put on wall ?? if so, thats not good.

Half the atoms, fewer overall rewards, and way more time to complete them. This is why that scum bag monetization expert was so excited for this change. Its going to increase $$$'s spent.

I know, I really liked that as well.

Afraid so, that is why i have removed the game and now have time to play other games.

Collecting that Scoreboard to decorate my walls was the only reason i played the game.

It makes sense, people were getting max xp level on day one and farming the rest of the time for shop points, they decided to take that out by creating a finite score board. Problem is once people hit the end since there is no infinite reward the population will drop immediately.

As a new player I feel cutting down on the rewards was a pretty bad idea. The previous one was really nice and helped me get a level a session. I've not been able to try the new one but it sounds like it'll be an overall worse experience.

Atoms are unlimited and can be printed out of thin air. Assets need to be commissioned and created by artists. Eventually the Atom supply will greatly exceed the asset supply as they print more and more until they are forced to reset the economy with bitcoin... oops wait that's the real USA.
