i got the plan 4000 costs :)

its a 10% drop rate and it costs ~1400 caps to run the event

ive personally run over 500 encryptids and i've had the plan drop 3 times

your best bet is to just keep doing them (it won't drop unless you've completed the quest line for it though)

What does the fixer drop from? I keep getting them randomly from events I wouldn't consider associated with a combat rifle.

I just came across the gun after completing the convoluted "The Lowe-Down" quest.
I like it as a sniper.
I didn't realise that the Encrypted public event was the culmination of the quest.
So I got the gun as a reward and the next time I attended the public event I got the plan.

That sounds hugely overpriced, I got mine for 4k caps from one of the traders on the Market76 reddit page.

Price for the recall keycard is 2200 caps

I seen someone selling it for 2k caps and he logged as I was buying it. I was forced to buy a Straight version and play the lottery but still looking for the plan, the gun slaps :)

It must be the alien event. I've got a few recently and that's all I've done really for events.

The encrypted event with the assaultron sheepsquatch.

Oh I was half-working on that one so that makes sense now. Recently I've had the bug where it stops telling you messages in the upper left corner so it's hard to tell where event loot comes from.
