I think 76 could have been worst, if they had used a more mmo orientated game engine, maybe eso's or if it was a tab target mmo. that would have likely been worst. the creation engine is showing age, but I think the game would have felt lacking if it wasn't as interactable as the other creation engine games. for as buggy as it is, there aren't many games that have these types of high interactablity, lots of objects and objects with some level of physics, this isn't something you'd typically see in multiplayer games its always been easier to just not.
I still think people were just annoyed that this isn't fallout 5 and it is mostly, just more fallout 4. it is multiplayer fallout 4.
Its just my opinion, I have nohing to base it on but speculation.
Fallout2 = find the GECK
Fallout3 = find your father
Fallout4 = find your child
Fallout New Vegas = find the assh*ole who shot you in the head
Fallout 76 = find the nukes
just out of curiosity because i really dont get it genuinely i dont understand this behaviour you came here on the steam forum of fallout 76 and type your opinion negatively about the game you know there is a feature steam has called ''reviews'' right ? you can post your opinions about the game there give it a thumbs down and express why you don't like it instead of doing the reasonable thing why come here and trigger everyone on this forum ??whats your goal here i really dont get it do you really think we CARE about your insignificant opinion ? the sheer stupidity/ignorance of this post itself is brain deteriorating
To what end, exactly? You like what you like. That has absolutely zero effect on what I happen to like or dislike. So you like this game better. Cool. Have fun.
I will gently point out that this post is saying Fallout 76 is better than Fallout 4. That's what the > symbol means. "Greater than".
sarcasm aside you really ok with this ??? aren't you tired/sick of seeing sutch posts EVERY SİNGLE DAY for the past 5 years ?? there is a platform called reddit if you wanna cry your heart out about it like i said there is a review system for expressing your experience about the game the purpose of steam forums are exchanging information between players about the game not a whine page
And here i was thinking Fallout 76 was find the bugs. Well that did not work as there were so many they took over the game.
Comparing games is a pointless exercise, especially in forums. Individuals have different tastes. In the 1600s someone came up with the line "One Man's Meat is Another Man's Poison". It holds true today. The quality of a product is a personal view.
And if 76 is > 4 or not, who actually cares? No-one.
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Ffallout-new-vegas-still-the-best-v0-1qk7wzwnncvc1.jpeg%3Fwidth%3D1080%26crop%3Dsmart%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dc45d1499ba7fc1d4dbb717e95f5c9a048ee3f775
Though with 76, I like the fact that it's not find "anything" to be honest. You're not trying to save the world or save someone. There's no one ultimate goal or major threat that if taken down will either save the world/a community, (water chip) or solve your personal problems. (Family gone missing.) It's kind of like a more chilll Fallout sitcom that gradually gets new episodes from time to time.
And what's up with the lack of randomization with the repeatable quests? Seriously, I can only do the same quest that plays in the same location that happens in the same way every single time so much. I don't expect a grand story out of them, but jesus, can we not change it up a little?
People complain aboute Preston cause he's a meme General another settlement blah blah blah, but at least he and all the other factions gave you something to do from a list of many locations every time you talked to them when you've done everything else in the game, and with 76 you're meant to play your characters forever due to content updates. Yeah, the Camp allies and faction quests are the equivalent of that, but in FO4 you didn't have to wait 24 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours to do the next one either.
I'm fine with it. I don't get worked up over internet forums. Likely because I was born and grew up before internet forums were a thing, I suppose. I've slowly watched the world degrade, largely due to social media, into people believing the world revolves solely around them as individuals and somehow owes them everything. This kind of post just doesn't bother me, because I don't let it bother me.
The purpose of forums aside, there will always be the "people" factor. You can't choose what other people do, you can only choose how you'll react to what they do. I choose not to get upset over it, because it doesn't matter how I feel about it. You were correct in one thing you said: Genuinely, no one cares.
