Regent of the Dead, couldn't leave via Pilot.

I finished the mission, was told to go to the Ventibird for my reward, I go to the pilot to end the expedition, and the only option was "Not ready to leave yet." I had to exit through teleport, so I'm not sure if I got the reward or not. I definitely didn't get the reward screen when you finish the expedition from the Pit. Did I miss out on anything good??

Regent of the dead is not an expedition. It’s a quest in a location that also has expeditions. You would have already received the rewards.

Do you have any SKY MILES left. If not then you have to fast travel home with your Loot.

I got rewards as soon as I finished talking with the guy, but since he said to talk to the ventibird pilot, who wouldn't take me home, I figured it was a bug. I had to teleport out of there.

I don't know what that is. I'm assuming it's the "fuel" left to do more missions before returning from expedition? I just had a quest there so I went to the location.

Don't worry about it then. Sounds like it was just a bug. Also, if this happened tonight, it's probably because the servers are struggling. It's prime time and there's like 10x more people than there used to be right now.
