Just remove the option to sell to NPC's
It's not even worth the time or travel costs to sell at such a laughable loss
The most downtrodden beggar would spit in your eye for offering such a paltry sum
The Appalachian economy would collapse faster than a fusion core

Not everyone likes selling only to other players, and you would royally ♥♥♥♥ over a huge part of the player base making their daily limits with water, meat and what have you.

Just don't sell to robots if it upsets you this much?

Good luck moving your 1k RadAways better with your camp vendor.

I like this idea but at the same time it's not a viable option.
If you want players to buy from you instead of the npc then carry things the npc can't offer.

I don't even ever sell anything. I don't even know what's valuable to other players or what anything is worth. I usually just scrap any non legendary weapons I find and cook and store just enough food to last me a little while. All my stimpacks, meds, and other stuff is just sitting in my inventory or stash.

Sounds like someone is on 1 Charisma.
S.P.E.C.I.A.L issue, also hard bargain further helps.

Put your charisma to 15 and get hard bargain level 2 to pay less and gain more caps at npc vendors. Craft excess junk to bulks and sell them. Weapons dropped from enemies such as shotguns for example give decent caps.

Many people will call you a fool ! ,.you do not want to sell to a NPC ?? Then don't ,, simple ! but some want to ! It is certainly better than throwing stuff away cos you are too heavy ! and it also helps you feel more immersed ! .. I would like to see changes in the game ! but i do not suggest for one second that my opinion is the only one that matters ! ..

Do 1 radiation rumble and you have enough glowing blood to make 1400 from the vendor easily. Collect purified waters that are just thrown at us everywhere and you'll have enough to make 1400 from the vendor easily. Sell the stimpaks or rad-x or radaway that we pick up literally EVERYWHERE in the game and you'll make 1400 caps from the vendor everyday. I constantly am dropping 100's of stimpaks and radaway to new players because they are just showered on us. This is how I do it, but you can also sell none legendary weapons from events if you're willing to be overencumbered for a few minutes while you find a vendor.

travel is free if you know where to travel to...

im tired of loading screens... fair enough... but it costs about zero caps to travel to whitespring refuge and sell your stuff, then it's again zero caps to go back to your camp.

there are enough free travel spots on the map.. travelling is really cheap if you start by going to the closest free destination first.

Free FT to Nuka World or Whitespring Mall. You have vendors, lego machines, and all the stash, scrap, ammo boxes.

one fusion core can last hundred of years , so it's not so bad.

New player here who also tends to overanalyze everything. How I've been doing things is picking up every weapon until I'm encumbered. When that happens I pop a buffout and pick up a little bit more. Once I have as much as I can carry and still fast-travel I take everything back to my camp and scrap every weapon and armor. The reason I do this is because scrapping weapons and armor adds plans to mods for those weapons; with weapons unlocking mod plans a lot faster than armor. Eventually you'll get to a point where you've unlocked all the plans you can get for a weapon through scrapping it (some plans need to be found and learned; usually things like recon scopes). This happened to me with Assault Rifles; no matter how many I scrap I only get the scrap components and no plans.

Once I've gotten to a point where scrapping weapons no longer gives me mod plans I fast-travel to Whitspring where I sell everything. Whitespring is a free fast-travel spot and there's vendors right inside. There's also a Stash Box inside the mall. And almost every single event has a Stash Box nearby. What you do is collect as much as you can during an event and stuff your stash box, then fast travel to Whitespring Mall and sell everything.

Yes, 30 caps for a single weapon seems ridiculously low but when you're selling 20 or 30 of those weapons every day it all adds up. You just need to optimize your cap farming routine. Hell, I often max the daily caps limit doing this after just a couple of events.

And if you want to do this stuff faster just swap out one of your charisma perks for the Hard Bargain perk and pop some grape mentats if you have them. Usually the Perk swap is enough to just get the daily cap limit though.

I always spend alot of caps, buying things from people and vendors. So i normally empty the vendors caps. It's 100% worth it to sell them junk legendary stuff after getting your daily scrips.
